About Christ Church Tallahassee

Established in April 2020, Christ Church Tallahassee is a non-denominational Florida church that worships in the Anglican tradition. With two priests and a vestry of 10 individuals, Christ Church Tallahassee welcomes people of all ages and statuses to its congregation of those looking for a community built on faith. The institution aims to help its members grow their belief in God, improve their relationships, and give back to the local community.

The church offers events and activities such as Bible study, men and women groups activities, band concerts, and community workshops on how to serve the disadvantaged in the community. It also engages in charitable activities such as outreach to the disadvantaged through the ECHO ministry.

A Sunday service is held at 10:30 a.m. One of the church’s priests, Father Gene Strickland, directs a ministry for area first responders and serves as a volunteer chaplain for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
